We had a lot going on last year: numerous appearances, pitches, and lots of new experiences shaped our year 2022. We have summarized the WAIBRO highlights of the year once again.

STARTUP WORLD CUP
We qualified for the Austrian final in Vienna at the Startup World Cup preliminary round in Graz in April. This took place a month later at the Chamber of Commerce. Katerina and Philipp pitched in the category "Social and Climate Impact".

TALENT DAY
The Austrian Paralympics Committee (ÖPC) organized the second Talent Day in June. We mingled with the Paralympics athletes with the WAIBRObelt and showed our innovative belt to the "champions" of tomorrow.

THE BEST 30 UNDER 30
The "Steirische Wirtschaft" publishes an annual ranking of innovative and creative young entrepreneurs. In the summer, Katerina was honored by a jury of experts as one of the top 30 young female entrepreneurs under 30 in Styria.

FIFTEEN SECONDS FESTIVAL
The "WOCHE" Sport Stage at the Fifteen Seconds Festival was all about sport, adventure, and innovation for two days in September. Katerina also had the opportunity to give an exciting talk about WAIBRO and the revolution in sports for the blind.

AUSTRIAN MORNING TELEVISION
Innovative ideas from the world of sport are also invited before the curtain at the Sportpitch. We reached the finals of this sports idea competition and were also able to enjoy a little "airtime" for WAIBRO on ORF's "Guten Morgen Österreich".

DAY OF THE SPORTS
Already for the 21st time, the Day of Sports took place in September. Around 200,000 visitors did not miss this event in Vienna's Prater and were not only able to try out sports at 122 associations but also to test the WAIBRObelt. Austria's Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler was also enthusiastic about our belt.

USA TOUR
October was all about the USA for WAIBRO. Katerina and Philipp traveled to the United States of America as part of the "Go International" campaign of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and were able to gain a lot of experience, make new contacts, and also spread our vision in the USA.

ISPO MUNICH
The last big highlight of the year was in Germany at the end of November: We were represented for the first time with our stand at the ISPO in Munich. ISPO is the world's largest trade fair for sporting goods and sports fashion. Numerous visitors showed interest in our WAIBRObelt, including the blind Irish long-distance runner Sinead Kane (pictured here with Katerina).
