INDEPENDENCE FOR BLIND RUNNERS

We are WAIBRO and we developed a wearable to empower the Blind and Visually Impaired to practice outdoor sports independently from guides. This way everyone can become their own hero!

Our first product is made for running on sports tracks.

With our future research, we are going to expand the field of applications.

How does a visually impaired athlete perceive a running track? We have created a simulator for you.

OUR REVOLUTION
THE WAIBROBELT

Blind and visually impaired people can often participate in sports only with accompaniment. With the WAIBRObelt, they can now do so alone and independently, and thus always stay on the right track.

The WAIBRObelt is a smart wearable that enables independent running sessions thru computer vision and our developed algorithm.

Our software recognizes running tracks in sports venues and upcoming obstacles on standardized running tracks. The lines on sports tracks are recognized by a camera in the belt and at the same time the position of the runner in the lane.

The information for the athlete comes by vibration impulses and navigates along the route.

TO MAKE THIS A REALITY

With your support, you make it possible for blind and visually impaired athletes to be independent in sports. Together, we are revolutionizing sports for the blind! Make it possible and join the movement! As a thank you you can expect great goodies like cool shirts, casual hoodies, and caps as well as teambuilding events or of course ... the WAIBRObelt.
